Camping cards - Hugs & Kisses

Oops, ik was dit kaartje helemaal vergeten! Hier issie alsnog.

Deze heb ik gemaakt met wat restjes Jillybean Soup papier.

Voor deze kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de sets Baby Blossoms (label), Vintage Vogue (bloemetjes) en Bliss (vlindertje). Het leuke tekstje is van Elzybells.

Graag wil ik even van de gelegenheid gebruik maken om jullie heel erg te bedanken voor de leuke reacties die ik steeds mag ontvangen! Echt super!

Helaas heb ik de laatste tijd niet erg veel tijd gehad om kaartjes te maken, omdat het hier thuis erg hectisch is. Ik ga proberen om de draad weer een beetje op te pikken, maar op een iets lager pitje.

I made this one with some scraps Jillybean Soup paper.

For this card I used the sets Baby blossoms (label), Vintage Vogue (flowers) and Bliss (butterfly). The cute sentiment is Elzybells.

I would like to thank you all for the superb comments I may receive time and time again. Which is highly appreciated!

Unfortunately I haven't got much time to craft lately. It has been pretty hectic in my household.

Nevertheless I am going to try to pick up the pieces, but at a slightly lower level.

With Sympathy

Soms heb je weleens een kaartje nodig voor de minder leuke dingen van het leven.
Ik wilde graag een mooi stemmig kaartje maken, maar wel met een beetje swung van het leven en vooral niet te stijf. Hoop dat dat hiermee gelukt is.

*** Sometimes you need a card for things that are not so great about life.
I wanted to make a beautiful stylish card with a small swing of life and certainly not too old fashioned. Hopefully this is it.

Butterfly golden nugget box

 

 

 

Adela heeft een heel gaaf patroontje voor een doosje (golden nugget box) gemaakt voor de 3-D uitdaging van Papercraft Planet deze week. Aangezien ik helemaal into doosjes en vlinders ben heb ik er het bovenstaande doosje van gemaakt. Het patroontje is op de site van Papercraft Planet te downloaden. Doe je ook mee?

Box with elegant soiree cards

De afgelopen 2 dagen ben ik bezig geweest met het maken van dit doosje met kaartjes.
In de hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden heb ik van het doosje een lesje gemaakt.
In dit doosje passen ong 4 à 5 kaartjes van 4.25 bij 5.5 inch.
Net bedacht ik dat ik er misschien nog een klittenbandje op moet zetten, zodat het wat beter sluit. Dus dat is nog een optie.
Deze keer heb ik de tekst van de tutorial in de foto's verwerkt. Ik hoop dat dat werkt. Kun je het niet lezen dan klik je op de foto. Deze wordt dan vergroot (als het goed is). Enjoy!

I just thought I might put some velcro on this box, so it will close a bit better.
It's just an option.

Cards and Things color challenge 31 and 3-D Tuesday challenge (Papercraft Planet)

 

 

Vandaag heb ik de kleuruitdaging van Cards and Things (31) gecombineerd met de 3-D uitdaging van Papercraft Planet.
Persoonlijk vind ik kleuruitdagingen altijd erg moeilijk, zo ook deze keer weer. Ik moest er echt even over nadenken.
Vandaar dat ik ook wat laat ben met het insturen van mijn kaart.
Op Papercraft Planet is er iedere dinsdag een 3-D uitdaging. Dit heb ik pas ontdekt. Er staan leuke dingen tussen, zoals ook de haute tote van Adela. Deze week heeft Tammy Hershberger ons uitgedaagd om een shadow box card te maken. Dit leek me nu eens een leuk projectje om te doen. En dit is het resultaat van de combinatie van beide uitdagingen. Ik hoop dat jullie het geslaagd vinden.

*** Today I combined the color challenge of Cards and Things (31) with the 3-D Tuesday challenge van Papercraft Planet.
I am always having a hard time with color challenges. I had to think twice about this one too. That's why I am late sending in my card.
Papercraft Planet is organising a 3-D challenge every Tuesday. I just found out about this. They have great challenges, like the haute tote of Adela. This week Tammy Hershberger challenged us to make a shadow card box. I liked this project so I gave it a try. This is the result of the 2 challenges combined. I hope you'll like it.

Hopelijk ben ik nog net op tijd om mee te doen met Stamping 411's sketch 141.
Ik heb mijn favoriete setje maar weer eens van stal gehaald. Blijft leuk om mee te spelen!
Deze keer heb ik gekozen voor natuurlijke tinten.

I dusted off my favorite set for this one. It's still a fun set to play with!

Weer een simpel transparant kaartje. Ook weer geembosst met de cuttlebug dots. Met daarop een randjes met de scallop trim border en een lintje van de markt. Vintage vogue bloemetje en beautiful wings embosslit vlindertje.

Vintage Vogue

 

Ik had zoveel lol met het maken van het doosje met kaartjes dat ik gisteren liet zien, dat ik nog een kaartje heb gemaakt. Deze keer geen smal kaartje, maar een vierkante en in een andere kleuren combi. Dat grijs is ook erg mooi met lichtblauw vind ik.
Hopelijk kunnen jullie het ook waarderen. De set Vintage Vogue is 1 van mijn nieuwe favorieten.

*** I was having so much fun making the box with cards I showed you yesterday, I just made another card like it.
This time a square card and in a different color combination. I like the gray with bashful blue as well.
Hopefully you can appreciate this as well. The set Vintage Vogue is one of my new favorites.

Box with little cards

 

 

 

 

Het doosje dat ik ooit bij Krista op een workshop heb gemaakt blijft favoriet.
Ik heb er nu weer totaal iets anders mee gemaakt.
Eerdere versies vind je hier en hier.
Deze keer heb ik ook gewerkt met transparante schutvellen (van de Bruna). Heel leuk om te embossen met je cuttlebugfolders. Ik ben er inmiddels verslaafd aan geraakt. Toegegeven dat het niet mijn eigen idee is. Mijn vriendinnen Christa en Alice gingen mij al voor. Natuurlijk wilde ik het ook eens uitproberen en ik kan het je aanraden. Erg leuk om mee te werken!!
Helaas zijn sommige foto's niet helemaal scherp uitgevallen, maar nou ja vooruit maar. Ik hoop dat jullie zo toch een beeld kunnen krijgen van mijn kaartjes.
Deze keer heb ik voor de combinatie van rood, grijs en wit gekozen. Weer eens wat anders dan rood, zwart en wit, wat nog altijd 1 van mijn favoriete kleurcombinaties is.

This time I made something completely different with it.

This time I worked with transparencies. Very nice to emboss with your cuttlebugfolders. I am addicted to it.
I admit this isn't my idea. My friends Christa and Alice already made some cards with transparencies. Ofcourse I couldn't help myself and I had to try this. Well I can recomment it. Way much fun!
Unfortunately some of the photo's aren't really sharp. I hope you can get an impression of my cards.
This time I chose the colorcombination red, gray and white. Usually I choose red, black and white, still one of my favorite color combo's.
