*** You might think...what is Caro quiet! That's right! I took an early christmasbreak!! Every once and a while I'll try to post something. I am not feeling very well at the moment, that's why I take a break from all my crafting. This weekend I managed to make a card for the 128th challenge of Stamping 411. Finally I made one I am pleased with! I changed the sizes a bit, but the sketch itself is the same. The holografic snowstar I got from my neighbour. She made this with her brand new Cricut Expression machine. So nice to have a good neighbour!

Stamps: SU winterpost, medallion
Ink: baja breeze, chocolate chip (craft), riding hood red
Paper: ridinghood red, chocolate chip, 220 gr white copy paper, holografisch papier (ooit gekocht bij Blokker voor 0.50 cent!!)

Stamping411 meets MM Design and Diva for coffee

*** This week I made 2 cards with the Stamping 411 sketch. One Christmascard and one Get well card.
For the Christmascard I used a digistamp from MM Design (Marit Meijer made this). I used one of my favorite colorcombinations. Red, white and light blue. Looks really fresh. It has become a simple card, but I guess it has something. Hope you'll like it too.
I choose to use the colorchallenge at Diva Coffee break designs in combination with Stamping 411's sketch for my Get well card. These colors were a real challenge to me, but it gave me the opportunity to try out my new colors. Do you like it?

Stamps: digistamp MM Design, SU! Fifth Avenue Floral, SU! teeny tiny wishes
Paper Christmascard: 220 white copypaper, Creamotions, het gestreepte is een restje waarvan ik het merk niet weet (the striped paper is a piece of scrap of which I don't know the brand).
Paper Get well card: SU! very vanilla, soft suede, bashfull blue, Red by knutselengeltje.
Ink: SU! Bashful blue, soft suede, Adirondack red pepper
Acc: tombowstiften, sticky pearls, sticky diamonds, eyelet border punch (SU!), nestabilities

2 cards 1 sketch (stamping411)

BALEN!
***I've made 2 cards with sketch 116 of Stamping411. Because I didn't have much time and I definately wanted to play along I first made the card with the cake. I had colored the cake image before so that was easy. Because of the time I decided to use a lot of designerpaper. I normally prefer to make my own backgrounds or do a little more stamping on my cards. I wasn't completely satisfied with my card. So I decided to do another one (the blue one). Same story here. I used a lot of designerpaper. Still I am not statisfied with both of them. They're not ala Caro. What a bummer!

Stamps: digistamp van the cutting cafe, Marianne Design sentiment, SU! Friends 24-7
Ink: versafine onyx black
Paper: My mind's eye, SU DSP
Acc.: labels one nestabilities, primaflowers, handmade flower, brads, metal spacers, black fineliner, Tulip 3d paint glitter diamond, watercolor pencils, sticky diamonds.

HAPPY STAMPING!

Dreaming with Stamping 411

*** I was on a roll yesterday so I've also made sketch 114 of stamping 411. I'd stamped the Dreams and swirls before to show someone how to make this with a brayer. And now it was time to make something with it. I worked the eeges of my white mat with a edgedistresser. For the background I first punched the bottom edge and ran it though the cuttlebugmachine with a paisley embossingfolder. The background was a bit too pink, so I used some adirondack Eggplant with a make-up spunge to color it. This is the same color I used for my dreams image, together with Adirondack Wild Plum.
I wanted to use a plain white card, but that was a bit too boring, so I stamped some butterflies of the same stampset at the bottom. I stamped one butterfly seperately and cut it out to stick on my dreams image. It wasn't quite finished and I wasn't satisfied because I made a mess stamping one of the butterflies at the bottom. How was I going to solve this? Well, I just put a little sentiment on top of it! (By the way, hope my English is understandable, because I had a hard time translating this time. Maybe it's because I'm a bit tired).

Stamps: SU Dreams du Jour, SU baroque motifs, SU oval all (dank aan Erna!)
Ink: Stazon Jet black, Adirondack Eggplant, Adirondack Wild Plum, tombow markers
Paper: 220 grams copy paper, Bazzill (pink)
acc.: Paisley cuttlebug embossing folder, edge distresser Heidi Swapp, SU eyelet border punch, SU large oval punch, SU scalloped oval punch, sticky diamonds (kruidvat), white Pentel hybrid gelpen (the best I ever had!).
