Mojo Monday with Utah divas international

 

 

 

 

Voor deze kaarten heb ik de sketch van Mojo Monday gecombineerd met de kleuren challenge van Utah divas international (UDI). We hebben een aantal verjaardagen in het verschiet liggen, dus ik heb de voorraad verjaardagskaarten weer even aangevuld.
De eerste kaart heb ik echt volgens het kleurenschema van de kleurenchallenge gemaakt. De tweede kaart heb ik met de restjes gemaakt en met nog wat andere bloemetjes die ik nog had liggen. Eigenlijk vind ik zelf de 2e vrolijker.
Van deze kleurtjes krijg je inderdaad een voorjaarsgevoel. Laat het mooie weer nu maar komen....

*** I combined Mojo Monday's sketch with the color challenge of Utah divas international (UDI) this time. Since you cannot have enough birthdaycards I decided to make some more. The first card I made exactly according to the colorscheme of the color challenge. The second card I made with the leftovers and some flowers I had lying around. Personally I like the second one better. It's even more cheerful. These colors bring indeed a hint of spring! Let's hope the weather will be nice soon...

De afgelopen tijd heb ik kunnen ervaren hoe belangrijk het is om lieve vrienden/vriendinnen te hebben. Het is dan ook een voorrecht dat ik door lid te zijn van internetgroepen met veel mensen vriendschap heb kunnen sluiten. En dat daaruit door met elkaar te e-mailen soms ook nog hele bijzondere vriendschappen zijn ontstaan. Daarom heb ik deze 2 kaartjes gemaakt. Om jullie heel erg te bedanken voor alle steun en vriendschap. Jullie zijn kanjers!
De Mojo monday sketch heb ik voor deze kaartjes gebruikt. Ik heb een beetje vals gespeeld, want ik heb het randje boven het vlak geplaatst en eigenlijk moest het eronder.
En ik wilde ook graag meedoen aan de raspberry suite color challenge #10 op het blog van Dawn Mc Vey. En deze keer wilde ik WEL op tijd zijn! Maar daar wil ik meteen bij opmerken dat ik 3 dagen voor een challenge wel erg weinig vindt. Zeker als je dan ook nog 2 van die drie dagen moet werken en een baby hebt van 10 maanden. PFFF, dat was aanpezen! Maar het is gelukt! De kleurtjes vond ik erg mooi, maar wel moeilijk. Ik hoop dat ze een beetje overeenkomen, want ik heb niet zoveel in die roze tinten. Verder heb ik weer geprobeerd om 2 verschillende kaarten te maken. En ben ik benieuwd welke jullie voorkeur heeft en of jullie ze uberhaupt weer te pruimen vinden.
*** Recently I noticed how important it is to have dear friends. It's a privilege to become friends with so many of you just by being member of an internetgroup. And through e-mailing some of these friendships developed to be very special. That's why I made these 2 cards. To thank you all for your support and friendship! YOU ROCK!
For these cards I used the Mojo Monday sketch. I played a bit false, because I placed the border on top of my stamped area.
I also wanted to play along with Dawn Mc Veys raspberry color suite #10 challenge. This time I didn't want to be late! But I have to make a comment, because 3 days for a challenge is a bit short I guess. Especially if you have to work 2 out of the 3 days and you have a baby. PFFFF, that was a timescheme with a little stress! But I succeeded! I find the colors beautiful, but hard to work with. I hope they match a little with the challengecolors, because I don't have much of these pinks. This was the closest match I could find. Furthermore I tried to make 2 different ones again and I would like to know which one is your favorite and if you like them at all.

Te laat *** Too late

 

Helaas is het met niet gelukt om mee te doen met Dawn Mc Veys Raspberry Suite color challenge van afgelopen week. En ik vond die kleurtjes nu net zo mooi!
Maar toen ik zojuist mijn kaartje wilde uploaden op haar site zag ik opeens dat de challenge al gesloten was. JAMMER DE BAMMER! Nou ja, toch een leuk kaartje gemaakt (althans dat hoop ik).
*** Unfortunately I did not succeed to enter Dawn Mc Veys Raspberry Suite color challenge this week. And the colors were just so very beautiful!
When I just wanted to enter my card on her site I saw the challenge ended last Sunday. What a bummer! Well, I made a nice card anyway (although I hope so).

Geïnspireerd door deze kaart van Michelle Zindorf heb ik het volgende kaartje gemaakt:

Het is dus een beetje van Michelle Zindorf en een beetje van Caro. Ik heb geprobeerd om er toch een beetje mijn eigen ding van te maken. Ik hoop dat dat gelukt is. Die swirls schaduwen moet ik duidelijk nog wat meer oefenen, maar ach ik vind het eindresultaat toch wel mooi geworden. Jullie ook?

*** It's a litte bit of Michelle Zindorf and a little bit of Caro. I've tried to give it a touch of Caro. I hope that I succeeded. I have to practise shadowing the swirls a bit more. But hey, I find the result pretty. You too?

Boxje met 10 minikaartjes

Geïnspireerd door het blog van Krista ben ik ongeveer 2 weken geleden aan de slag gegaan met het maken van een boxje met minikaartjes.
Voor het boxje vond ik een tutorial op het blog van Andrea Walford. (Linkjes staan onderaan).

De kaartjes zijn 8x8 cm. Ik heb er zelf envelopjes bij gemaakt. Hiervoor heb ik eerst een template gemaakt op een sheet, zodat ik deze steeds kon overtrekken. Ik heb de envelopjes steeds in de stijl van het kaartje mee gestempeld, zodat het 1 geheel wordt.
