Mojo Monday with Utah divas international

 

 

 

 

Voor deze kaarten heb ik de sketch van Mojo Monday gecombineerd met de kleuren challenge van Utah divas international (UDI). We hebben een aantal verjaardagen in het verschiet liggen, dus ik heb de voorraad verjaardagskaarten weer even aangevuld.
De eerste kaart heb ik echt volgens het kleurenschema van de kleurenchallenge gemaakt. De tweede kaart heb ik met de restjes gemaakt en met nog wat andere bloemetjes die ik nog had liggen. Eigenlijk vind ik zelf de 2e vrolijker.
Van deze kleurtjes krijg je inderdaad een voorjaarsgevoel. Laat het mooie weer nu maar komen....

The first card I made exactly according to the colorscheme of the color challenge. The second card I made with the leftovers and some flowers I had lying around. Personally I like the second one better. It's even more cheerful. These colors bring indeed a hint of spring! Let's hope the weather will be nice soon...

MOJO MONDAY 104

 

 

Deze heb ik gemaakt voor Mojo Monday 104. Ben er weer niet helemaal happy mee. Zal mijn MOJO wel niet hebben...hihihi.
En het is ook allang geen maandag meer. Misschien ligt het daaraan.

Oja, de plakdiamandjes lijken wat blauw op de foto, maar dat zijn ze niet!
By the way, the sticky diamonds look a little blue on the photo, but they're not!

De afgelopen tijd heb ik kunnen ervaren hoe belangrijk het is om lieve vrienden/vriendinnen te hebben. Het is dan ook een voorrecht dat ik door lid te zijn van internetgroepen met veel mensen vriendschap heb kunnen sluiten. En dat daaruit door met elkaar te e-mailen soms ook nog hele bijzondere vriendschappen zijn ontstaan. Daarom heb ik deze 2 kaartjes gemaakt. Om jullie heel erg te bedanken voor alle steun en vriendschap. Jullie zijn kanjers!
De Mojo monday sketch heb ik voor deze kaartjes gebruikt. Ik heb een beetje vals gespeeld, want ik heb het randje boven het vlak geplaatst en eigenlijk moest het eronder.
En ik wilde ook graag meedoen aan de raspberry suite color challenge #10 op het blog van Dawn Mc Vey. En deze keer wilde ik WEL op tijd zijn! Maar daar wil ik meteen bij opmerken dat ik 3 dagen voor een challenge wel erg weinig vindt. Zeker als je dan ook nog 2 van die drie dagen moet werken en een baby hebt van 10 maanden. PFFF, dat was aanpezen! Maar het is gelukt! De kleurtjes vond ik erg mooi, maar wel moeilijk. Ik hoop dat ze een beetje overeenkomen, want ik heb niet zoveel in die roze tinten. Verder heb ik weer geprobeerd om 2 verschillende kaarten te maken. En ben ik benieuwd welke jullie voorkeur heeft en of jullie ze uberhaupt weer te pruimen vinden.
*** Recently I noticed how important it is to have dear friends. It's a privilege to become friends with so many of you just by being member of an internetgroup. And through e-mailing some of these friendships developed to be very special. That's why I made these 2 cards. To thank you all for your support and friendship! YOU ROCK!
For these cards I used the Mojo Monday sketch. I played a bit false, because I placed the border on top of my stamped area.
I also wanted to play along with Dawn Mc Veys raspberry color suite #10 challenge. This time I didn't want to be late! But I have to make a comment, because 3 days for a challenge is a bit short I guess. Especially if you have to work 2 out of the 3 days and you have a baby. PFFFF, that was a timescheme with a little stress! But I succeeded! I find the colors beautiful, but hard to work with. I hope they match a little with the challengecolors, because I don't have much of these pinks. This was the closest match I could find. Furthermore I tried to make 2 different ones again and I would like to know which one is your favorite and if you like them at all.

Af en toe kan ik het allemaal niet meer bijbenen met die leuke challengebloggies. Ik loop danig achter, maar ja, ik heb een goed excuus, mijn 2 lieve mannetjes. Jullie hebben ze van de week lang zien komen op mijn bloggie.
Anyway, deze is voor de Mojo Monday challenge van deze week (91). Ik ben ietsiepietsie afgeweken van het geheel, want ik vond het best nog lastig om alles op zo'n klein kaartje te krijgen. Zag ik net toch dat je ook een grotere maat had kunnen kiezen...tja, niet over nagedacht! Ik ben mijn Mojo geloof ik een beetje kwijt. Dat komt vast van de vermoeidheid. Zijn jullie ook zo aan vakantie toe?

Anyway, this one is my entry for the Mojo Monday this week (91). It's not exactly according to the sketch, because I had a little trouble getting it all on a small card. Later on I saw I could choose a bigger size card....well I didn't think about that! I believe I lost my Mojo a little. That's probably because I am so tired. I look forward to our summerholiday. Mojo Monday 89

 

 

 

Het was een zware bevalling deze keer, de uitdaging van Mojo Monday. Een paar dagen heb ik erop zitten broeden totaal inspiratieloos! Maar opeens zag ik het licht. Ik was met Christa aan het mailen over de Monogramstamper van Justrite die hier in de kast stof staat te vatten. Zij gaf wat leuke linkjes door en toen moest ik 'm natuurlijk wel even onder het stof vandaan halen! Wat een leuk ding eigenlijk!! Verder heeft Christa mij ook geïnspireerd om mijn stipjesachtergrond weer eens te gebruiken en bij Alice zag ik dat leuke kadertje van Get Inspired een aantal keer voorbij komen, dus die moest ik ook maar weer eens te voorschijn toveren. Krista inspireert mij met haar SU! borderpunch, maar aangezien die nog onderweg is heb ik de threading waters maar weer gepakt. Al met al is deze kaart dus samengesteld uit inspiratie opgedaan bij mijn lieve stempelvriendinnetjes! En Angélique, zoals je ziet gaat SU! bij mij WEL vreemd!
Al met al had ik gisteravond laat de kaart eindelijk af en wilde ik zojuist een foto maken. Wat denk je....batterij leeg! Gelukkig heeft mijn lieve zoon ook een leuk toestelletje, dus die heb ik even gepakt. Zo kan ik 'm toch nog showen.
De kaart staat inderdaad scheef, dat komt omdat de bloem iets groter is dan de kaart. Maar het kwam nu eenmaal zo uit en ik vond het wel grappig. Een beetje outside de box zullen we maar zeggen...
Hoe vinden jullie 'm? Ik ben erg benieuwd!
***It was quite a challenge this weeks sketch on Mojo Monday. I thought about it for a few days with a total lack of inspiration! But then there was light. I emailed with Christa about the Monogramstamper from Justrite that's catching dust on my desk. She gave me some nice links and after watching that I just had to use it again! What a great stamper! Christa inspired me also to use my dotbackground again. And Alice showed some nice cards with a frame from Get Inspired, so I had to use that as well. And then there's Krista. She inspires me with the use of SU! borderstamps, but since mine is still on it's way I used the threading waters. So this card is build on inspiration of my dearest stampingfriends!
And Angélique, as you can see, my SU! do have affairs with other stampbrands.
Finally I finished my card late last night. Just now I wanted to shoot a photo, but guess what...batteries empty!
Luckily my dear son has a little camera as well, so I used his so I can show you my card anyway.
Indeed the card is not straight. The flower is a bit bigger than the card. But that's the way it came out and I thought it was funny. A little outside the box.
