Vandaag werd ik verrast met het feit dat mijn blog is gelinkt op een blog dat iedere dag leuke items zoekt, waarvan de leukste op hun blog worden gelinkt. Ik heb het over: http://blogfindsoftheday.blogspot.com. Dus mocht je nog op zoek zijn naar inspiratie is dit echt een aanrader! Ik ben helemaal flabbergasted dat ze mijn paars-witte kaartdoosje hebben uitgekozen. JOEHOE! Dit wilde ik even met jullie delen.

Box with cards

 

 

 

 

Eind november was een vriendin van me jarig. Omdat zij zo van paars houdt heb ik voor haar dit doosje met kaartjes gemaakt. Op de foto's ziet het er wellicht als donkerblauw uit, maar het papier dat ik heb gebruikt is echt paars. Ik wilde het eenvoudig houden en daarom heb ik gekozen om alleen met paars en wit te werken.
Het patroon van het doosje is card couture van Lauren Maeder (papertreyink).

*** Late november one of my friends has had her birthday. Because she loves purple I made her this box with cards. On the pictures it shows as dark blue, but I really used purple cardstock. I wanted to keep it simple and that's why I choose to work with purple and white only. The template I used for the box is Lauren Maeders card couture (papertreyink).

Stamps: diffent SU sets but mostly Fifth Avenue Floral and Friends 24-7, Marianne Design
Ink: Adirondack eggplant and versafine onyx black
Paper: 200/250 gr white copy paper, purple cardstock Club Scrap
Acc: cuttlebug embossingfolder dots, butterfly die (thanks to Erna), swirls (cricut), eyelet border punch, white ribbons, topnote die, circle and scallop nestabilities, sticky diamonds.

Kijkje in de keuken ***Peak in the kitchen

 

Tussen de middag had ik zo'n lolletjes met Gio. Hij zat zo heerlijk te smikkelen van zijn tosti. Dat wilde ik even met jullie delen.

*** At luch I had a great time with Gio. He was enjoying his cheese sandwich (don't know the English word for tosti at this moment). I just wanted to share this fun moment with you.

SOL - christmascard

 

De SOL van deze week werd verzorgd door Erna. Wat een leuke sketch! Ik merk dat ik de eenvoudigere sketches toch wel erg leuk vind om te maken. Deze keer heb ik gekozen om 'm helemaal rood-wit uit te voeren met een paar zilveren accenten. Ik heb 'm met wat inkt en een sponsje iets nostalgischer proberen te maken.

*** This weeks SOL was a creation of Erna. What a great sketch! I noticed I like making the more simple sketches a lot. This time I chose to make an all red-white card with a few silver accents. With some ink and a spunge I tried to make it a bit more nostalgic.

Stamps: Winterpost, Season of Joy
Ink: Soft Suede, Distress antique linnen and walnut stain
Paper: 200 gr white copy paper, red cardstock and a piece of scrapbookpaper I don't know the brand of (I've had this for ages!).
Acc.: holografisch zilveren sneeuwster (cricut-van 't buufie), zilveren sneeuwsterretjes en zilveren lovertjes( uit een doosje van het Kruidvat), zilveren brads (Pipoos), cuttlebug embossingfolder, small cirlce nestabilities, large oval punch, oval scallop punch, plakdiamantjes (weet iemand waar die nog te vinden zijn voor weinig??? Ik kocht ze altijd bij het Kruidvat voor 1 euro)

DWYT11 - HAPPY FABULOUS FRIEND

 

Met de super leuke DWYTsektch van deze week (11 - gemaakt door Nina) heb ik dit kaartje gisteravond zitten fabrieken. Er was tenslotte maar weer eens voetbal op t.v., dus manlief zat voor de buis geplakt.
Ik had wat behoefte aan vrolijkheid, dus heb ik wat lekkere knalkleurtjes uitgekozen. Ik hoop dat jullie dat ook leuk vinden.

*** Yesterdayevening I made this card with this week's super coolDWYTsketch (11 - made by Nina). Bas (my boyfriend) was watching soccer on tv AGAIN, so couldn't resist to visit my craftaddict.
I was in the mood for something cheery, so I picked out some nice bold colors. I hope you'll like it.

DWYT 10 and Christmascardshowday

 

Met het restje van de Medallionstempel die ik op mijn vorige kaart heb gebruikt heb ik nog een kaartje gemaakt. Toen ik de cirkel zag dacht ik meteen aan de DWYTsketch (10) van afgelopen week (morgen komt er weer een hele leuke nieuwe!!). Eigenlijk wilde ik deze al de hele tijd maken, want ik vind het een super leuke sketch. Dus aan de bak ermee!
Het schaatspaar van Winterpost paste net niet in het gat, maar gelukkig had ik nog zo'n leuke holografische sneeuwster van buufie liggen, dus heb ik die gepakt en ik vond het enig staan. En jullie?

*** With the scraps of the medallionstamp I used on my last card I made another card. When I saw the circle I immediately thought about the DWYTsketch (10) of last week (tomorrow there will be another great sketch on the DWYTblog!!). Actually I was planning to make this sketch, because I like it so much. So let's work it out!
The skating couple of Winterpost didn't quite fit into the hole, so I used another holografic snowstar I got from my nice neighbour. I thought this looks great too. And you?

Stamping411 challenge 128

 

Jullie zullen wel denken...wat is Caro stil! Dat klopt! Ik ben vervroegd met kerstvakantie!! Ik zal zo nu en dan toch wat proberen te showen. Helaas zit ik even niet zo lekker in mijn vel, vandaar dat ik even een break neem van alle knutselpraktijken. Dit weekend heb ik toch nog een kaartje voor de 128ste challenge van Stamping 411 eruit weten te persen. Eindelijk weer eens eentje waar ik tevreden over ben! Ik heb wel de maten iets gewijzigd, maar de sketch an sich is hetzelfde. Van mijn achterbuuf kreeg ik de holografische sneeuwster. Die heeft ze gemaakt met haar spiksplinter nieuwe Cricut Expression machine. Toch fijn om van die leuke buurtjes te hebben!

*** You might think...what is Caro quiet! That's right! I took an early christmasbreak!! Every once and a while I'll try to post something. I am not feeling very well at the moment, that's why I take a break from all my crafting. This weekend I managed to make a card for the 128th challenge of Stamping 411. Finally I made one I am pleased with! I changed the sizes a bit, but the sketch itself is the same. The holografic snowstar I got from my neighbour. She made this with her brand new Cricut Expression machine. So nice to have a good neighbour!
