Just a little something for you - Stamping and Blogging sketch 63

*** It's Wednesday again, so time for another Stamping and Blogging Sketch!
This week I have been playing with the beautiful new In Color Blackberry Bliss again.
In fact I have been playing with a few of my favorites.
Like the Stippled Blossoms stampset, which I think is timeless.
And the fun part is you are immediately practising a technique with this stampset, because it's a 2-step stampset.
This means you stamp a base stamp first and stamp a detailed stamp on top of it.
In this case I stamped the base flower with Wisteria Wonder and the detailed flower with Blackberry Bliss. Because of the darker color on top of the lighter color depth will show in this flower.
The leaves are stamped the same way in the colors Old Olive and the new In Color Mossy Maedows. Love that combination!

For this technique I advice you to use a tool called the stamp-a-majic, so you can place your stamps precisely.
Majic it is when you use this!

The background is stamped with another of my favorites, namely the Hardwood background stamp. I stamped this in Smokey Slate on a Smokey Slate card base.

The beautiful sentiment is from the excitingly fun set Num-Num.

And there you go...a simple, but elegant easy card.

Are you playing along with this week's sketch?
