Caro's Kaartjes: decorative masks

Wat zijn die decoratieve masks van Stampin' Up! gaaf om te gebruiken! Je hebt ze in hartjes en sterren, maar ook met strepen en grote stippen.

Deze laatste heb ik op dit kaartje gebruikt.

Je kunt er zoveel leuks mee doen. Maar om uit te proberen heb ik het wat eenvoudig gehouden en ben ik gewoon gaan sponsen met Stamping Sponge van Stampin' Up!

Wanneer je eerst naast je papier sponst en dan met een draaiende beweging je papier op sponst krijg je een heel mooi resultaat. Hierbij is het wel belangrijk dat je niet opeens harde op je sponsje gaat duwen, maar gelijkmatig blijft.

Ik heb de bovenkant met Coastal Cabana (een lichte aqua blauw) en de onderkant met Strawberry Slush (een lekkere knal roze) gesponst.

Dit vind ik een vrolijke combinatie.

Als extra touch heb ik de kleur zilver toegevoegd aan dit geheel.

De set Kind & Cozy had ik al een hele poos in mijn kast staan, maar ik had er nog niet veel mee gedaan en dat terwijl ik deze set wel echt helemaal leuk vind. Dat kan dus niet he?!

Hoog tijd om deze set eens in de schijnwerper te zetten.

*** The decorative masks from Stampin' Up! are just wonderful to use on your projects! There are hearts, stars, but also stripes and big dots.

The last one I used on this card.

You can do so much fun things with these masks, but for this card I tried to keep it simple and just sponged with a Stampin' Up! stamping sponge.

When you start the sponging off your papier and move your way towards and on the paper in a circular motion you will get a beautiful result. The trick is not to press your sponge too hard and stay evenly with the pressure on the sponge.

I worked my way from top to middle with Coastal Cabana and started down towards the middle with Strawberry Slush.

A delightful combination if you'd ask me.

To bring in an extra touch I added a little silver.

The stampset Kind & Cozy, which I have had for a little while now, but haven't worked with so far, was the one that came to mind to use on this card.

I really like this set, so it's a shame I haven't used it before.

High time to get this into the spotlight.
