Babykaart *** Baby card

Babykaartjes vind ik altijd lastig! Maar dankzij het leuke patroon van Adela is het toch gelukt weer eens wat anders te maken. Heb danig zitten pielen met het tule en het zit eigenlijk nog niet helemaal naar mijn zin, maar het moet maar. Vond het wel een leuke finishing touch. Ook dit idee is weer gepikt van Adela.

*** I'm always having a hard time making baby cards. But this time, thanks to a wonderful template from Adela, it was kind of easy. Although I'm not quite satisfied how I applied the tulle. But it will have to do for now. I really liked the tulle as finishing touch. This idea is cased from one of Adela's examples.

Hold the fries

Gisteravond heb ik nog 2 van deze doosjes gemaakt. Dit is de 3-D uitdaging van afgelopen week op Papercraft Planet. Je kunt als je snel bent nog net mee doen.

Ik heb op een sheet met Stazon white cotton een swirl stempel gestempeld (Elements of Style) en daarna het patroon uitgeknipt en het doosje in elkaar geplakt. Toen zag ik aan de zijkant nog plakband. Niet mooi! Dus heb ik dat afgewerkt door er een randje wit papier op te plakken en dit langs de rand af te knippen.
Het tekstje heb ik van het blog van Marit geplukt. Ze heeft zulke leuke tekstjes gemaakt om te printen! Echt een aanrader. Je vindt ze hier: Scrap-a-licious times.
Dit alles afgemaakt met een paar roosjes die ik lang geleden eens kreeg van mijn lieve vriendinnetje Alice. Het doosje heb ik gevuld met een transparant zakje met wat paaseitjes afgestyled met een wit kant lintje en een vlindertje.
Al met al een erg leuk en snel project weer. Adela bedankt voor deze leuke uitdaging!

I stamped a swirl stamp with Stazon white cotton on a transparency. I placed the template on top and cut it out. Fixed the box and then I saw the sticky strip at the side. Not so nice! I decided to place a strip white paper over this and cut this off along the edge.
I downloaded the sentiment from Marits site: Scrap-a-licious times. She has some nice sentiments for you to download there for free!
Pimped this all with some little roses I got from my dear friend Alice.
This box contains a cello bag with little chocolate eggs finished off with a little lace ribbon and a butterfly.
All and all a fun and quick little project again. Adela thank you for this nice challenge!
