Weekendsketch kaartenmakers

 

 

 

 

Ook deze week weer een nieuwe weekendsketch bij de kaartenmakers. Deze keer is de sketch gemaakt door Dorien. Dank je wel Dorien, voor de leuke sketch! Ik vond het wel een uitdaging met al die laagjes! Zelf vind ik het dan altijd lastig om de maten te bepalen. Hoe doen jullie dat??
Verder wilde ik er een vrolijk kaartje van maken waar je blij van wordt. Het is tenslotte lekker zonnig weer! En daar word ik blij van. Ik hoop dat het een beetje is gelukt. Zelf ben ik nu eens wel tevreden. Ook eens leuk! Ben zeer benieuwd naar jullie reacties!
*** This week another weekendsketch at the Dutch cardmakersgroup. This time Dorien took care of the sketch. Thank you Dorien for this great sketch! I found it a challenge with all those layers! I find it difficult to decide what the measurements are. And I would like to know how you deal with that?!
Furthermore I wanted to make a happy cheery card. The sun is shining, so it had to be a summery feeling card. I hope I succeeded. This time I am happy with the result for a change. That's nice! And I am very curious what you think of my newest creation!

Dit is toch wel 1 van mijn favoriete stempels geworden! Een hele poos geleden had ik van Krista een kaart gekregen die ik zo mooi vond dat ik 'm ook wilde maken, maar dan op z'n Caro's. Van mijn Mojo Monday kaartje had ik al een stukje papier liggen, want ik had de verkeerde maat gesneden. En aangezien ik de combinatie donkerbruin en zacht aquablauw nog steeds erg mooi vind, wilde ik met deze combi weer eens een kaartje maken. De blauwe bloem heb ik uit een restje geknipt en met een embossingpennetje gerild.
*** This stamps grew to be one of my favorites lately! A while ago I received a beautiful card from Krista which I also wanted to make, but then at Caro's style. From my Mojo Monday card I had a leftover since I cut the wronge size. And since I still find the colorcombi darkbrown and soft aquablue very pretty I wanted to make a card with this combination. The blue flower I cut out of a piece of scrap and rilled with an embossingpen.

Hier een filmpje voor de afwisseling. Je krijgt een klein kijkje in de keuken van SU! Ik vond het leuk om te zien waar deze onwijs leuke stempies vandaan komen.

Diva Coffee Break Design challenge #129 PIMPED VERSION

 

Ik was toch nog niet helemaal tevreden over mijn bijdrage aan de DCBD challenge van deze week. Het was niet helemaal Caro zeg maar. Daarom heb ik 'm nog even gepimpt. Mede dank aan Erna die met het briljante idee kwam om pareltjes te gebruiken. Dat ontbrak er nog aan! Ik hoop dat jullie de gepimpte versie nog mooier vinden.

*** I wasn't satisfied with the result of my contribution to the DCBD challenge for this week. It wasn't quite a Caro card. That's why I pimped it up a little. With a big thanks to Erna, who came up with the brilliant idea to use pearls. That's just what I missed. I hope you like the pimped version even better.

Mojo Monday week 88

 

 

Afgelopen weekend ben ik met mijn buuf Dieke naar de Creabeurs in Rijswijk geweest. Na afloop hadden we afgesproken om dinsdagavond met onze nieuwe spullies te gaan spelen. Dat was erg gezellig. Ik had de Mojo Monday sketch meegenomen om hiervoor een kaartje te maken. Vooraf had ik het e.e.a. in mijn hoofd hoe ik het wilde hebben. Ik mocht de Derwentpotloden van Dieke proberen om mijn afbeelding te kleuren. Ik gebruikte tot nu toe gewoon aquarelpotloden met een doezelaar en terpentine. Derwentpotloden werken toch iets anders vind ik. Aquarelpotloden zijn zachter en vloeien makkelijker. Anyway, toen ik naar huis ging had ik mijn kaart nog niet af, want we hadden veel te veel zitten kleppen. hihihi. Ook gezellig! Eenmaal thuis heb ik nog tot half 1 zitten worstelen en het werd maar niet naar mijn zin. Uiteindelijk heb ik de kaart gisteren afgemaakt. Het is niet helemaal geworden wat ik ervan had gehoopt, maar ik vind 'm toch wel leuk. De kleurtjes zijn lekker vrolijk. Helaas is de 1e foto een beetje scheef, maar ik had geen zin om 'm opnieuw te maken. Sorry! Ik denk dat jullie zo ook wel zien hoe ie is geworden. Ben wel benieuwd naar jullie reacties! Zeker omdat ik er zelf dus weer niet tevreden over ben.

*** Last weekend I went to a creafair in Rijswijk with my neighbour Dieke. Afterwards we made an appointment to play with our new goodies on Tuesdayevening. This was big fun! I brought the Mojo Monday sketch to work with. I had planned out my card in advance. I could try Dieke's Derwent pencils to color my image. They work a bit different as my aquarelpencils. Aquarelpencils are softer and they are more fluent I think. Anyway, when I went home my card wasn't finished, cause we were talking too much. hihihi. At home I worked on my card until half past 1, but still the card wasn't what I expected, so I gave up. The next day I finally finished my card. Still it wasn't what I had hoped for, but I think it's cute the way it is now. The colors are fresh and bright. Unfortunately the first photo is not quite right, but I think you can imagine what it should look like. I didn't want to do it all over again. I am curious of your responses though, because I am still not quite pleased with the result.

Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag *** Congratulations on your birthday

 

Morgen is mijn nicht Monique jarig. Speciaal voor haar heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt.
Ik heb een oud fotootje van de clematis in onze tuin gebruikt, want ik wilde ook eens zo'n fotokaartje proberen. Het printje had ik al heeeel lang liggen, dus dat moest nu maar eens gebruikt worden. Het kaartkarton dat ik heb gebruikt zijn allemaal restjes. Toevallig had ik restjes in de kleuren van de bloem liggen. Daarbij heb ik de So swirly stempel van SU, de ribbon stempel van TAC en de schoolschrift gefeliciteerd rond van Different Colors gecombineerd. Deze laatste stempel heb ik afgelopen weekend bij Ludiec op de Creabeurs in Rijswijk gescoord. Wat een leuke stempel is dit! Op diezelfde beurs heb ik de threading water punch van Fiskars op de kop weten te tikken en die moest natuurlijk ook meteen uitgeprobeerd worden!!
En dan is dit het resultaat van een middagje freubelen. Hoe vinden jullie mijn fotokaartje geworden?

*** Tomorrow it's the birthday of my niece Monique. Especially for her I made this card.
I used an old photo of a flower that grows in our garden, because I wanted to try and make a photocard. The print of this image I've had lying around for a while, so it was time to use it. The cardstock I used are all scraps. Luckily I had scraps of cardstock in the colors of the flower. I combined the so swirly stamp (SU), the ribbon stamp (TAC) and a stamp from Different Colors with a sentiment in Dutch. It says: Congratulations on your birthday. This stamp I bought at the fair in Rijswijk last weekend. What a cool stamp this is! On the same fair I bought the threading water punch from Fiskars. And ofcourse I had to try it immediately!!
So this is the result of an afternoon being creative. Do you like my photocard?

Weekendsketch 22 mei 2009

 

 

 

Ieder weekend is er bij de kaartenmakersgroep een kans om mee te doen met de weekendsketch. Je kunt je hiervoor van te voren opgeven en dan krijg je op vrijdag de sketch toegezonden en heb je tot zondag 22.00 uur de kans om je kaart te laten zien op de groep. Zo ook weer dit weekend. En dit is wat ik ervan heb gebakken deze week.
Ik heb deze kaart meteen gecombineerd met de lenteketting waar ik aan mee doe bij de stempelpartygroep. Dus Angélique...hij is onderweg! Ik hoop dat het je smaak is.
*** Every weekend there's a chance to play along with the weekendsketch on the (Dutch) cardmakersgroup (yahoo). If you want to play along you have to subscribe so you'll get the sketch mailed on Friday. Then you'll have untill Sunday 22.00 hrs to show your card on the group. I played along this weekend and this is the result.

Vandaag weer een fotoreeksje. Deze keer van de sierui in de tuin van onze buurtjes. Ik ben jaloers, want die wil ik ook in mijn tuin. Maar als het dan eenmaal zover is dat ze geplant moeten worden ben ik het weer vergeten...SUF HE?!
Op de 2e foto zie je bijtjes vliegen en op de 3e foto is er 1tje geland.
*** Today another fotosession. This time of some flowers (don't know the English word) in the garden of our neighbours. I am totally jalous, because I want these in my garden! But when it's time to plant I forgot all about them...Dorky hey?!
On the 2nd photo you can see bees flying and on the 3th photo one bee has landed.

Er is een sketchuitdaging op het MOJO MONDAY blog. Er zijn diverse cybervriendinnetjes die meedoen, dus ik dacht laat ik er ook eens een slinger aan geven. Dit is het geworden.

Doosje van Krista met kaartjes van Caro

Laatst mailde Krista een leuk lesje door om een doosje te maken. Wat leuk is dat om te doen zeg! Ik heb er kaartjes in gemaakt, maar je kunt er ook een leuk notitieblokje in maken met een leuke bijpassende pen en 'm op je bureau zetten. Dank je wel Krista voor dit leuke lesje! Wat ben je toch creabea!!
Omdat ik zo'n lol had met mijn paisley embossingmalletje heb ik dat concept maar doorgetrokken naar deze kaartjes. Ook omdat ik het wel bij deze stempels vond passen.
***Krista e-mailed a nice box tutorial the other day. How much fun is that! I made cards to go with the box, but you can also use it on your desk with a little notebook and matching pencil. Thank you so much Krista for sharing this lovely tutorial! You are so creative!!
Because I was having so much fun with my paisley embossingfolder I used the same concept again on these cards. Also because I thought this would be nice together with these stamps.

Just a little note

Jaaa...hier is dan weer een kaartje! Deze had ik laatst al gemaakt, maar toen waren de fotootjes mislukt.
Ik moest natuurlijk even mijn nieuwe cuttlebugembossingmal paisley uitproberen!
